To determine the size of conference table you need you can calculate the amount of space you want per person (i.e. 30-36 inches) and divide the length of the table by that amount which will give you an idea of how many people can fit per side and then add two chairs for the end caps.
Boardrooms are typically used for meetings between staff and clients. In most businesses, special attentions should be made to this space in order to provide a comfortable atmosphere for discussions and to leave a good impression with attendees. Other matching office furniture such as storage cabinets, wall mount presentation white-boards, tv’s and monitors are commonly installed into boardrooms along with a new table and chair set.
In order provide connectivity to a wall mounted TV, Ethernet network access, USB charging or Electrical and power outlets, it is common to have connectivity boxes and hubs installed directly into the center of the conference table or any location that is convenient. How-To’s
How to repair a conference table
A conference table with a scratched top may be repaired depending on the material used to construct the table. If the top is laminate you may be able to use a wood stain pain to blend the composite with the laminate. If the damage is worse you may be able to custom order a new laminate top. Wood and veneer tops can be sanded and stained to make the conference table look new again. If joints are not holding well in some cases wood glue or angle brackets with screws may be enough to complete the repair of your table.
How to set up a conference table
In most cases you will need at least 2 people to setup a new conference table. For most tables you will want to set the top down on a smooth surface and attach the legs one at a time. After the table is assembled you may flip the table onto it’s feet by lifting and rotating it into place. If there are multiple leafs, you may need to assemble the table one set of leafs at a time. A table with multiple leafs will be impossible or difficult to lift and may result in damage to your table. Be sure to follow the installation instructions included with your conference table.
